The poem and my note explains how this came to be written. God had to deal with me about my attitude toward same sex marriage. No way did he condone it, mind you...it is very wrong...but so is a lot of other sins people commit. I want to apologize if I ever came across as being too self righteous...I didn't realize I was until God spoke to my heart. Yes, I still don't approve...I still think it's disgusting... and I realize some in the gay community are flaunting their sin in public...but, as born again children of God, it was impressed upon me that we should have compassion on these people...and on all sinners who refuse to repent...because they are going to miss God.
