News comes in little by little. I was a bit confused. Though we were unbeaten in pool "B". Our fourth game with New Jersey was a quarterfinal game. But no Champion was declared. They actually had a loss going in. Fourth game was guarenteed. The showcase was not a team competion as such. It was put together so the best player could be seen by scouts and colleges. In that much Ryan came out well. He had a contract offer from a hockey team in Florida. He is happy playing for the Seattle Ravens. It was nice to be wanted but it would be moving and he is still in high school. Several scouts were waiting for him to come off ice wanting to make offers from Michigan area teams. I have to wait for the kids to get home. Son said he has some exciting information that he wants to tell us in person. It could be one of the other two but it is probably something of a hockey offer. Some big teams and known hockey colleges were represented at the showcase. Whatever just being invited to play in this showcase was special and not all the kids were greeted with offers and these are considered the best players statewide. Many would be happy to be chosen by Seattle Ravens and have a signed contract./dandy
