I would like to thank all of you who offered their advice on my writer's block.
I would like to say that last night while sitting in my office listening to Bach (classical music which was a suggestion) and reading other literary works from the great writers here and from my own collection of books that I have surrounded myself with. Trying hard not to get discouraged. Then my 8 year old autistic son came in carrying a Dr. Suess book. He said “Dad I know you are having problems writing so why don't you write like Suess he just rhymes everything he even makes up his own words. So with his help I gathered up all of his Dr. Suess books and read through a few. To my great joy I have written a poem in the style of Suess something I have never have attempted before. I finished it and got his approval. Then I was able to write another poem and started one this morning. So I think I am finally out of my dry spell. Thank you all again for your great advice and help that so many of you offered. Just another reason that I enjoy this site.
