I told Ronnie about this incident on April 28th, when I visited him at Rahway Hospital. I drove most of the way to the hospital, but didn't remember where to turn into the hospital parking lot, so I decided to park my car in a shopping center close by and call a cab. This very nice taxi driver told me that he was also a priest and he asked me who I was going to visit at the hospital. I told him about Ronnie and I also told him that I was Jewish and that Ronnie was the only one of my four sons who had converted to Catholicism. The driver said that he had also studied Hebrew and he asked me to pray with him. Together we said The Lord's Prayer and then we said a Hebrew Prayer. I told Ronnie all about this taxi ride and he loved it! I had an appointment with a Rabbi at my Temple yesterday. He's a young Rabbi and I had never met him before. He asked me if I believed in God and my answer was "Yes." I told him, among other things, that I felt very peaceful and that I needed time for myself. He also suggested that since I'm a writer, I might want to spend time writing -- which I am always compelled to do -- thank God for this. Ronnie's wife Karen just called me and told me that she also feels peaceful -- it's a good feeling and we know that Ronnie is with us and watching over us. May God bless Ronnie and Stevie, my two wonderful sons who are now together in Heaven; may God bless Bruce and Alan, my two amazing sons who are a blessing to us here on Earth -- may God bless the precious families that my four sons have created -- and may God bless the relatives and friends who make our lives complete.
Love, Annette
