This is a rewrite but a true story. One I cannot forget. I worked as an Airmen in the emergency room half of my career. The other half on the wards a short time in Central supply. Why they put me in the emergency room unclear. It was hard for me to deal with the sight of blood. Our military does what they have to do. I remember sew up one man who had his face bitten by guard dogs. Over two hundred stitches. I vomited and then went back to work. It is what our men do. A hayride truck filled with kids was struck from behind by three drunks speeding. I had never driven anything no license. I drove an ambulance to the scene. Brought back 16 of the less injured. Several with broken bones. All the other ambulance drivers were at the crash site. You do what you have to do. My friend was a black man. He had overdosed. Doc said he was diseased. Tears in my eyes I stayed to bring him back. You do what you have to do. Today the VA has refused to pay for my falldown the stairs. $2000 dollars two hospitals. Because I have medicare "A" and "B" I am not the only Veteran treated this way.I hope someone reads Pilot down. I is just one story. /Dandy
