It's where I live
and love and play.
A tiny corner of the world.
comfortable, safe and warm.
The insanity within is familiar
because it is mine and it's
sheltered from the insanity without.
Quarantined in this
tiny corner of the world.
My space.
A place where tears and sobs
are sometimes emptied into
soft goose down pillows.
But, it is also a place
where the sun shines the next day
with promise and the knowledge
that smiles and laughter
will once more abound because,
faith and hope also cohabitate here.
The horrors of negativism, depression and self-pity
quickly fall victim to violent abortions
here in this tiny corner of the world.
