I just wanted to share the exciting news that two of my poems are going to be published in volumn 2 of a book called," You Are Not Alone, The Book Of Companionship For Women Struggling With Eating Disorders."It is being published by Andrea Roe. I sent her my story and a few poems and heard back from her right away. I'm honored to be included with all of the other women who have shared their recovery stories. I never was really a poetry writer until this year. I have always kept a journal off and on throughout my life, and enjoy writing short stories. I started seeing a therapist this year to help me deal with an eating disorder that I had been struggling with for many years, and a rape that I had kept a secret since I was eleven years old. She suggested that I write, and these poems are what have been pouring out. I find that it is helping me to heal. I'm married to a wonderful man, and have 4 beautiful sons. My 4 angels!
