This is cheaper than therapy and I enjoy playing with words and rhythm. I'm a 50ish man-child who has been married to the same incredible woman for over half his life now. She is the lantern light of my poems. I seek to chronicle the joys and the difficulties in staying together and in some semblance of love in a world turned inside out from wasted opportunities, unexpected role reversals and under-appreciated blessings. I am a truck salesman and soccer referee who enjoys music, movies, and contemporary American poetry. I began writing poetry in the mid 90's and have assembled about thirty finished poems, mostly rhyming poems, but some free verse stream of conscious efforts. I would love to publish my efforts, but don't know where to turn, or what avenues to pursue. Any advise is sought and welcome.
