NEWS: I have recieved several awards for my accomplishments in writing poetry I have poem's listed on www.poetry.com under my poet name(anitawh) and I recently started a page on www.shelovesgod.com for christain poem's to be published on. My awards I have recieved are:editors choice award for 2006 & 2007 and I have the editors choice bronze medal and pin,Then I made poetry ambassador for 2006 & 2007 and I have one of my poem's published in twilight musing and I am getting ready to be published in one of noble house book's coming out in the winter of 2008 called:Noble House Presents:Centres of Expression.My New Book Is Called:Blessed Poetic Verses-By ANITAWH
ABOUT: Hello, my name is Anita Winston I am 59 years' old, and I started writing poetry when I was 8 years' old, but I never thought to do anything with it until a domestic violence stepped in and took my precious sister's life. I then entered a contest, and this is where it all began after winning, so far, I have received two editor choice award certificate's and a bronze medal editor's award along with the pin, I then received the poetry ambassador award for 2006 and then I received the outstanding achievements in poetry award and the bronze poet of merit award along with a distinguished member award. And the poem you read called Love Me is dedicated to my sister in memory of: Ms. Janice Wharton.
