NEWS: Most of the poems listed on this site will be available to purchase through Publish America, in a volume titled "Turn the Page". The manuscript has now been printed. Retail cost is $9.95, and the volume contains all of the poems originally listed on this site. It may be ordered online, through Publish America.com, or through Barnes and Nobles. Most of my time is dedicated to the 2 novel length fantasies I am writing. They can be viewed at storypen.com/bladesong, along with various other writings. I will be checking this site periodically, and will reply to any and all feedback as soon as I see it. I am nearly finished with my 2nd series of poems, with a working title of Turn the Page Once More.  I am considering a 3rd and final series to be called Turn the Last Page.  Best wishes to all.....Bladesong

ABOUT: I began writing when I was about 15. For many years I "shelved" this talent, believing it to be a waste of time and energy. That belief has changed over time. I now believe that NOT utilizing one's God given talent is the true waste. I have no doubt there are many authors and poets possessing far greater talent than mine. That does not diminish my own gift, it merely defines it. I grew up in Oklahoma, though I now reside in the Southwest. Many of my views are old fashioned, perhaps even archaic. That is not an apology, simply a statement of fact. Some of my writing you will enjoy, some you will laugh at. There is little doubt you will disagree with some of it. That's fine, some of the things I have written I no longer agree with either. I welcome any and all feedback, especially critique. If we never see a fault, how can it be corrected? I have met a truly wonderful lady who loves and appreciates me for who I am. I never thought I would meet my "soulmate", or that such a person even existed. She brings joy and laughter to my heart and life, and now that I have met her, I wonder how I ever survived without her. I am an avid reader of sci-fi, fantasy, westerns, and ancient history. I also enjoy religious books, and examining other faiths to see how they compare to my own. I no longer engage in traditional roleplaying games, as my friends no longer reside in the same state I do. Our favorites were AD&D, Runequest, Gamma World, and Villains & Vigilantes. I enjoy most sports, whether participating or merely watching, though trying to watch golf, bowling, or tennis bores me to tears. I very much enjoy camping, nature hikes, etc. I LOVE rainy weather; the stormier the better. Well, I've rambled on long enough. Anything else you want to know, you can ask. That doesn't mean I'll necessarily answer.....Bladesong
