Please sign my Guidebook before you leave. I would love to know who dropped by. Poetry is a unique way of expressing one's thoughts. Just as an artist paints on canvas, a poet paints with words on paper. It takes a special gift to convey words in such a way that the reader is moved. The pen is not the tool, the words are. A poet uses words to manipulate their thoughts, it is not just words written down on paper, It is words that comes alive, reaches out, and grab you. May God richly bless you all. ~Leona M. Mars
ABOUT: Leona Mars lives in a small community in the state of Oklahoma with her three sons. Her favorite time of the year are the holidays, simply, because everyone is home and no one is rushing off to meet a schedule. Leona began writing poetry in 1998. Since she was no longer employed and had time on her hands, she began to satisfy the inner yearnings of writing poetry. "It is something I have always wanted to do," says Mrs. Mars.
