ABOUT: I was born in the mid-west, and enjoy writing poetry when my mind lets me. I also like hiking in the woods, camping, and photography. I'd rather drive than fly because I love being on the road and seeing all there is to see. Going exploring and getting lost... kinda. I began writing while I was in the army. There was a lot of time to fill when you're stuck on base waiting for that once a month paycheck, and it's not there yet. Music kept you sane, and what I enjoyed dong was writing song lyrics. A song is just a song, the words make it whole. You could literally put yourself into yourwork, and be a part of what you're writing. Not always... Sometimes you have to think yourself there. Put yourself into somebody elses shoes. Before I began posting I often wondered if there were other people out there who felt like I did. I found out that there were. I discovered many and have learned much from others writings. I count them as greatest of friends. "Write what you feel, and feel what you write." The poems on this site are under the Fargo X. Williams pen-name, aka. Jack E. Bilek, and the second part of my writings. I am also posting at The Starlite Cafe under Stargzr and Fargo Williams.
