On February 11, 2006 my son Alvin Jr. and his wife Lowanda welcomed their second child, a girl weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz. She was born at 7:07 pm in St. Louis, MO. Her name is Princess Alanna Buchanan and she is an absolute angel. We praise God for her. It's a joy to have a baby in the family nursery again, after the anguish of losing Little Alvin III, last March. We give God the glory for the things He has done.
ABOUT: Ethel L. Buchanan was raised in St. Louis, MO. She has had a love for poetry and writing since the age of 7. She was baptised in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost on January 15, 1976. After accepting her calling to preach the gospel of Jesus, she was ordained in October of 1983. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and in Nursing, graduating at the top of her class at the age of 34; after having married and raised 3 children, 1 son and 2 daughters; and is the proud grandmother of 10, 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters living(3 grandsons died). She now resides in St. Louis, MO and began this company, Feeling Words, Inc. in May of 2001. She believes that God has given her the gift of poetry and that "what touches the heart, reaches the soul" until you FEEL the WORDS God has given her. She retired from the Nursing field in July of 2001,after the death of one of her grandsons, Christopher. She was ordained in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in 1984 as an Evangelist. She is an active member of Last Days Apostolic Faith Church under the pastorate of District Elder Arthur R.
