ABOUT: I became a poet when I was 13, never even knew that my songs was just another form of poetry. I found the love for poetry when I went on my first open mic night, in Vallejo California! The atmosphere was so perfect, relaxing and everyone was able to share their pains and frustrations! I found my knew release! My Love to be able to express my inner most thoughts! As a little girl I day dreamed a lot, of being some famous star and I would write song and hide them. People who know me now, would never think that I use to be so quiet and with drawn. I retreated in my thought and wrote them down and sang them only to myself! But always had a passion for poetry! It gives me the chance to say what I want to say in a form of expression. It gives me a sense of freedom without being judged, though some do express their offenses at times! But it's art! So that's just it! Hope you enjoy! BRI
