NEWS: ~A Ponygirl Design~ My foster mother has recently passed away a couple days ago November 13, 2006... so I will not be on my computer much until after the funeral next Mon. November 20, 2006 Right to Left: Me, Papa, Mama and Pat We grew up with our foster parents since I was 4 yrs old and, my sister was 6 yrs old up until we left home after high school... *** My one poem I wrote for Mama... *** Dearest Mama... Wanted to say, "I Love You and Thank You Too!" You had taught Pat and Me...alot, And, we surely never forgot. We learned a whole lots because of Papa and You! We got to go to alot of places...all over, The Big Trees, Disney Land and even The Caverns All those weekends and vacation trips, We surely went all over and wished we had movie clips... Even enjoyed all those gatherings on Boston Ave. With the church people and everyone else we knew, Even in the garage with The Boston Alley Cats too! All those great times I wouldn't trade for anything else in the world! Also, being in the Girl Scouts, G.A.A., Dance Troops and The Symphony, too! Performing all over the San Joaquin Valley, It was all so cool...the beginnings of our roots...with you two, All starting, on Anderson St., Boston Ave. in Stockton Ca., with Pat and Me. "Thank You Mama...and Papa, too, For choosing Pat and Me...to be your daughters, And, raising, teaching, loving and caring for of us...two! "Mama...I Love You!" God Bless and Be With You Always...Mama! Lots Hugs and Kisses To You Mama...from Us Two! We Love and Miss You A Whole Bunches...Mama and Papa, too! ABOUT: Hello, my name is Julie but I Love Jewels better. I grew up in a foster home... I found out a few years back that...(12 years ago) I am of the Chemainus Indians in British Columbia Canada Of the Chemainus First Nations. I was named after my grandmother and very happy about that! But, that my grandparents, uncle and birth mother... Have all already have passed away... My grandfather George Gibson My grandmother Julia Gibson (Knee-Louie) My birth mother Patricia E. Gibson and my Uncle Phillip George I was so very sad to hear of all this... My birth mother passed away in November 16, 1983. I am still in search of any living relatives...I hope and pray that one day I can find any other ones living still...But, if not... I know I shall meet them all when my time comes...We shall celebrate our reunion... I have made my first connection with one of my relatives there in Canada...I feel so blest that God has blest us all. My one poem "Wanted to share my blessed and beautiful news" has some of this blessed news in it... *** I really love reading poetry but I have a very busy life ... so I read when I can and write when I can...I just recently started writing poems... A little after the summer of 2004 and, I would love to become as well a writer as many you and others that I have read... *** I do thank you all very much...for stopping by and reading my poems.
