NEWS: Michael and I spent a day in Atlanta, Georgia. We visited the Sun Trust Plaza, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park and Georgia Aquarium. The aquarium is new and is the largest in the world. We saw thousands and thousands and thousands of fish. There are no great whites, but the whale sharks grow as long as school buses. We visited the suberb of Buckhead before driving back to Nashville.

ABOUT: I am Jim Colyer. I live on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennesse. I feel right at home because I got a degree here way back in 1976. My son and only child was born in Nashville and grew up here. He will be 22 in March and is a student at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. He is majoring in business and works for Sun Trust Bank. I wanted him to get into an field that is going to make him some money so he will not have to be typing poems into a poetry site when he is 60. Not that being a writer is all bad. It is sometimes a great luxury to express oneself in words and verse. Some of these poems are about my son, Michael Brandon. That is Michael with me in the picture. We went to New York City and Yankee Stadium. That explains our caps.
