NEWS: I am currently working on my book... nothing new to report at this time. Thanks for stopping in. 11-23-03 Guess what?! I am going to meet Joaquin Phoenix tomorrow! I will tell you all the details when I get back!I am so nervous but I am ready to meet him, finally after all this time I will meet the man that makes my heart melt! Wish me luck! 8-10-05 It was a fantastic day/night! I was the very first person there for extras and the very last extra to leave. He again has surpass everyones expectations, I was blown away! The whole time he was supportive of his staff and cast, letting them know with a hug or a kiss on the cheek..and some kind of appraisal. He is kind, wonderful, stressful (at times) but who wouldt be? He was so amazing and I was so depressed when I had to leave..I cried to myself on the ride home. And really I havent stopped. Even now when I think of having him in front of me saying some of the things I have been wanting to say to him and giving him that book of poetry, which is a huge part of me and my life...I cry, because its over. The night ended. There just arent any words I could say that would even describe how amazingly he did as a director. He showed the world that he should be seen for all his qualities not just for his acting, but also for a brilliant mind. I will never forget that night for the rest of my life. I went out there to support him and I would be there for him anytime he needs it.This was a milestone for him and I am glad I was a part of it. I hope to remain in time good friends with Joaquin, and maybe get his permission to publish more of my books about him. Thank-you for your time. 8-6-05 Wow, I just cant believe after all this time, Joaquin decided to quit acting to persue a music career. Sure hope things work out the way hes hoping, I back him 100%. I just hope and pray for his sake, hes not making a mistake. I will miss you Mr. Phoenix, take care of yourself and always keep that beautiful smile on your face. 10-12-09 Have finally met & now with the man I will soon marry. Its a good feeling to know that someone loves you, just as much as you love them.
ABOUT: Born in Montana, and adopted at birth, Sherri and her family moved to California when she was 4. But her parents had a rocky relationship, divorcing 3x's before she was 10 and seperating every 2 years, her mother leaving and taking Sherri and her niece with her. Her mother was very abusive with her children and with drugs, so until the age of 16 Sherri was abused almost daily. But didn't ever allow her mother to break her. She made many friends, but never lived anywhere very long to make any found memories. She does however have many friends, that turned out to be life long friends, she has wonderful memories with them. She stay with her father and brother in March 1999, after being raped by a family member. This would be the 3rd time and the 3rd time by family, sadly it would happen many more times before turning 30, not all by family. She was abused physically & mentally by boyfriends, family,and even herself. But, she overcame and fought through the pain, hurt, and tears through her poetry, since the age of 7. And found that she was really good at it, impressing friends, family, and other poets like her. And so she was able to express herself in a way, she had known was a great way to rid herself of all the emotions she had built up. And so she got past it all. So she went to prom, joined clubs, had crushes, and her heart broken like most teenagers do. Yes, she did however, get pregnant but it turned into a miscarriage. Has had her fair share of good and bad relationships, most of which she still has contact with and they have great friendships. She has not yet married, but plans too, and will be joining the Navy in June of 2014.
