ABOUT: I'm somewhat of a social chameleon; I relish in the extremes of life. You may find me walking lakeside in a t-shirt and cut-offs, "suited and heeled" for for a business meeting, or sequined 1920's style wrapped for an evening of elegance in style. I'm well-adapted to role playing. But, the real me is barefoot, walking the sand at sea level, kicking surf, and collecting shells and driftwood. I live inland, in Dallas now, and miss the beauty of the stretch of Padre Island I like to think of as my own. Because of a good friend, I've discovered the pleasure of living with a big dog--actually two: a blonde Lab, a black Shepherd. We share our den with "Emily" the elder cat, and the newest additions, three Siamese who joined us as kittens in the fall of 2006. They are named as incentive for me to write a children's book: "Stella," "Fella Othello," and "Angel Bella." Cats and dogs can live together in peace. We're a loving group, and produce enough refuse to heat a small village:-) Usually there's a philosophy about life, or lesson to be learned, blended in the language of my poetry. Beauty is all around. Love only conquers all if you let it. And no one can rob you of your achievements or your memories.
