NEWS: Well it is now Oct 2016....time seems to get away from us when life takes over. I've enjoyed the ride thus far and look forward to whats down the road. I'm happy to say I've now started writing for me again. It's still hard sometimes for the words to come or they come at an inconvienent time. I'm sure most of you understand what I mean lol I have now begun carrying something to write on & with. Even keep a little notepad on my nightstand. When the words want to be heard they are. You just have to be ready when they are. I still have the same aspiration I have had since entering my first contest. To get a book of my writing published. I will always be greatful to my grandmother for sending me that contest article and giving me the nudge I needed to share my work with others. Thank you for visiting my site and come again :)
ABOUT: I have been writing poetry since I was about 15yrs old. Poetry had always been my escape. Sadly after losing my mother, writing became very hard for me. To this day it is hard for me to write for me. However, I do greatly enjoy writing poetry for others and special occassions or simply ones because. I would love to have a book published some day or even write cards. Those long heart felt cards would be the ones for me. Alas, I have no idea where to start. When I was a little younger, I put together 3 rough draft manuscripts, but life took over. I have a two boys. One is now 20yrs old and my little man is 10yrs old. I live for my family. Thanks to this great idea of this site, I am now able to also share the poetry I have enjoyed writing over the years. I hope you enjoy my writing as well.
