ABOUT: Born in Italy, came to Canada in 1967, settled in Toronto, graduated from University of Toronto with Bachelor of Arts in languages. The calling to write came to me at a very early age. After much experimenting and exploring, decided I liked poetry best. A modern heart is a selection of poems written during my travels where I discovered that I traveled to write , The book deals with my earlier concerns of literature and the great sense of responsibility I feel towards the arts; how people, places and cultures I have encountered in my travels have played a role, influenced and even shaped the personality, choices and preferences as an artist and how it has enriched me with knowledge and new fresh experiences and wider visions of world. The selected poems may also be viewed as a metaphorical search and psychological journey into the self, an attempt to connect and harmonize the inner and outer worlds, that a times may feel in conflict and a contradiction of the other and life itself much more complex then it may appear. http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=4194
