ABOUT: Hello everyone. My name is Shelly and I live in Queensland Australia. I am currently 19 years old and I love writing poetry. To me poetry is a way to express yourself and let all your emotions be let free. A lot of my poetry is free thought. It's poetry that is written without much thought till I am actually finished it and I read over it. I find it fascinating that so much emotion and feelings can emerge from a short piece of writing. I would like to see everyone writing poetry or some form of writing as a release of built-up emotions to release the burdens that everybody is guilty of. I myself have been writing poetry since I was 10 or 11. To me it's a great way if you cannot commit to diary writing everyday. Often you may find a dedication of my poems and so I thought I'd give you a little informtion about my family. My mum and dad own and live on a small turf farm. I have two sisters of which Annette works for my parents and Terri Ann's de-facto works for dad also. Terri Ann had two darling little children, being Bailey Shayne and Skye Rose. I am a bit stuck on what else to write, so instead I will just leave it at that.
