ABOUT: Hello, and welcome to my poetry page. My name is Tenisha Jefferson and I have been writing poetry since I was 12 years old. I am the mother of 1 beautiful princess as well as an R&B artist. I honestly believe life is a mission, but its your job to find yours. I dont choose to write poetry, I have to. There are too many thoughts running through my head to not share them with the world. So I express them the only way I know how, through poetry and s songs. Although having the time to write is scarce, I do make the time because my lifes mission now consists of taking care of my child. So I made up a quote that keeps me focused. "LIFE IS SITTING ON MY SHOULDERS, HEAVY AS HELL, WAITING FOR ME, TO TUMBLE OVER, WAITING FOR ME TO FAIL"! When an obstacle comes my way I just recite that and overcome it. I refuse to fail and I honestly believe we all should. Thank you for sharing with me.
