The author was born , Lisa Luanne Longstreet, in Duluth, Ga. on November 19, 1974. She grew up in Villa Rica, Ga. She currently resides in the beautiful state of Alabama with her husband of twenty-four years.  She is a mother of two daughters and grandmother of two. She is a college graduate of Gadsden State Community College where she obtained her degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice. She went on to obtain her B.S degree in Psychology with a second focus in Forensic Science at Jacksonville State University. Lisa began writing in 2006. She is completely dedicated to her family, friends and the community.  She enjoys hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and photography. She has a book of poetry published titled: "A River's Poetry" and also a second book of poetry titled: "Wheat fields of Words".
