WHY MISSING INDIGENOUS WOMAN
For so many years these women go missing
So many lost in time, and no one seem to be noticing
For so many to be killed or gone missing, nobody cared
Back in the day with so many murdered it was so unfair
How many outside the community tears were shed
Authorities it seemed they turned their head
Mostly because of their heritage
So many natives still showed so much courage
Their ancestors were here first
Is it jealousy that gave the murders the thirst
So sad that feelings still exist
Some still let that anger persist
All the lives that have been lost
So many of their memories have been tossed
Let's pray for the innocent's lives taken
Because now their futures have been forsaken
MISSING INDIGENOUS WOMAN
