Giving different views
Of relationships and fantasies
The hardship of being hit by reality
Through each of these lines
You get to know
My happiest moments
And the saddest of my times
It's a window to my heart
At times you can even feel
Dare I say experience
What I take a part of
What it was like to be
With the one I truly loved
You get to see who were my crushes
Those who played me for a fool
The ones who came about
In my dreams
The one for who I broke so many rules
Thinking I had the Notebook type romance
And so many opportunities
That I let slip through my hands
You get to discover
What I call the talent
Of this wandering soul
Trying to figure out
Just who my mate is
And the exact role
That I'm to play
In this thing called life
Enjoy what you read
As much as you can
And I'll enjoy keeping 'em coming
