Prodigy

The hope of humanity
rest within the inner being of man
caretakers of the foul fish and beast upon our land

what dream ye O’ king what be of thy desire
how shall we uplift ourselves what seed will thee sire
the roads ahead are winding the paths broken unbinding
will ye be there to guide us in thee we’ve placed our trust
overcometh the battles of life’s endless maze
many will fall beaten bruised torn tattered dazed

walls of stones and molted rock
without thee we’re wayward flock
we pray thee dream of All
in your world to come
raise us up as brethren
kin to every father and son
