PLANTING THE SEEDS

Maybe not in my lifetime

But let me plant the seeds,

Maybe I will never see,

My dream of peace,

But I know,

Seeds will grow,

it gives me hope,

For this world needs,

Someone to start,

Planting the seeds.

Maybe not in my lifetime

I may not see,

But let me plant the seeds.

I have walked on a long road,

And I have seen,

A world turning cold,

With their dying dream.

The only thing that gives me hope,

As I watch this world as it bleeds,

Is to know that all things grow,

When you plant the seeds,

Maybe it starts with good deeds,

Help me to plant the seeds

Maybe not in my lifetime,

Maybe I will never see

My dream of peace,

But let me plant the seeds,

Help me to plant the seeds,

I know that seeds will grow,

And the hope for peace.

Is someone to start,

Planting the seeds.
