It's that time of year again,
when corn husks and bean leaves sail in the wind.
Farmers in combines march down every row,
hoping for the best yield from the crops they did grow.
I hope you all get your crops in on time,
and the seeds that you planted matured to their prime.
The leaves are turning and the frost grows near,
people are searching for that Pumpkin so dear.
Before we know it, it will be Halloween night,
with all of the children dressed for delight.
Getting candy and more candy from most of the people in town,
then the next few days all hyped up on sugar and running around.
Remember those days when you did the same thing,
and that wonderful feeling trick or treating did bring.
But back in our days there's still some memories that last,
Like Tee Peeing and tipping out houses are now things of the past.
So this Halloween when the kids are out for their night,
try to give them the best memories when you leave on your light.
