A Prayer for Jen #1

Father

I thank You for another day Lord

to walk with You

to love YOU - to be loved by YOU

For today Lord

help me know that YOU

care about the hairs on my head

that my concerns matter to YOU

Lord I need to feel YOU

in my troubles

God drive away my fears

bring YOUR peace to my heart

Show me how to live above my struggles

I am weary Lord

weighed down by my sorrows

let me see YOU in this pit

SWEET JESUS

walk in the fire with me Lord

HOLY SPIRIT

guide me as I read THE WORD

I want my eyes to see - wonderful things as I read

may my heart find comfort and hope from the scriptures

feed my soul with manna from above

My GOD, My GOD

I want to live closer to YOU

to dwell in YOUR presence

Lord my God

may I now be moved in the direction

that You have appointed

make me to

follow hard after YOUR will for me

increase my belief

in ALL THAT YOU CAN DO!

Lord give me a compassionate heart

for those YOU place in my path today....

May I remember YOU

all day today

abide with me God

I want to love YOU more.

In Jesus name I pray Amen!
