Today Brings Rain
In write escape today we run
As far a soul to be just one
With myself if for a rest
Today has come, taken our best
We write to bring comfort
To hearts and souls but our net worth
Seems cheap and broke a derelict
Of whats become of us that's left
Today brings rain upon our soul
Inside the best of me takes hold
In prayers mine today will break
Whats left its mark on heart ours staked
These words some read may cause to think
A mad man writes and quickly sinks
Depressed into darkness today
Searching for light, the light of day
So if per chance you came our way
To read, critique, maybe you'll say
Wounded is one and in great pain
Today hurting, today brings rain
