Poems of Lighthouse Bob

Maui #454

Maui

Sea turtle swims the coast of Maui,
Sea turtle lands on the black sand beach,
Sea turtle swims the coast of Maui,
Protects from danger our children each.

Maui Island's a plentiful island,
Maui Island's got a tropical rain,
Maui Island's a plentiful island;
Pineapple, cocoa beans, nuts and cane.

Hal-le, Hal-le-lu-jah!

Ha-le-a-ke-la's our volcano,
Ha-le-a-ke-la's our dearest friend,
Ha-le-a-ke-la's our volcano;
Captured the sun and the days won't end.

Palm trees sway on the coast of Maui,
Palm trees wave with a palm tree wave,
Palm trees sway on the coast of Maui,
“Glad you made it! Come back some day!”

Hal-le, Hal-le-lu-jah!
