Poems of Lighthouse Bob
One in Ninety-Nine #456
One in Ninety-Nine When sun has set and day is done, I have to look – Where is My Son? I had Him here, right by My side and now He's gone – Where did He hide? Where did He go? Don't understand how He slipped through, just like the sand, when I was stretching out My heart, My life, My all, through Him, to start a brand new life, a life of ease – Oh, won't you tell Me? Tell Me, Please! Please! If you know, Please, let Me see – Where has He gone? Where could He be? I've searched and searched the whole earth through and, now, I'm pleading! – Begging you, "Please, be My voice! Please, be My hands and hold Him up and help Him stand when wolves are circling all around and others beat Him, knock Him down – You don't sit back! You don't dare fear! My One in ninety-nine is here! He took your place! He took your sin! He grabbed the keys and entered in! He won the war! He raised the damned! Behold! My son! MY SON, the Lamb!" |
