 not always gold                                2/05

pressure rises like morning sun
over the horizon
gradually heating up the earth's surface.

caught slipping, forgetting the game and how
it go,

but just as all things that are in the dark
always comes to the light,

so does the truth
it's funny how yeast swells inside a oven
that doesn't bake,
can you relate

i was lost, but now I'm found
i remember things of old and that
i was once told

all that glitters and glistens
is not always gold!
