Stay With Me
A marathon of you runs deep inside
Where all things good in me abide
To catch up with what makes me whole
To hold again, of love untold
I see you there, just up ahead
A few steps more to you we're lead
Where clouds become what we walk on
This fairy tale, just once upon
In my eyes, reflects the past
As present is we wish could last
On knee we bend to ask of you
Please marry me, please say I do
Yet dissipate these clouds around
As does the beat in heart that pounds
Fearing the worse as you too go
Back to where GOD would say so
Standing before who will judge me
As we argue with Him we see
A call He made with divine light
Leaving, taking what made us right
You we'll love though time did sever
What held now holds what is forever
When ask we do, please stay with me
Until sleep we do eternally
