Pumpkin Patch Kids
Aidan and Ethan
And tiny Ava too
Search for pumpkins
'Cos that's the thing to do.
Big ones - small ones -
Yellow - orange - brown -
Arranged nice and neatly
In lines along the ground.
Ava - like a princess -
Dressed in her best -
Sits upon a pumpkin
To have a little rest.
Ethan searches carefully -
Looking here and there -
Choosing lots of pumpkins
For everyone to share.
Aidan pulls a wagon
As fast as he can go -
In amongst the pumpkins
Up and down each row.
Smooth ones - rough ones -
Brilliant and bold -
Giant ones - tiny ones -
Too hard to hold.
Ethan and Aidan
And tiny Ava too
Sit amongst the pumpkins
And smile back at you!
