Servant
Unpopular for some who live
All for themselves and not back give
For all are called but some wont hear
What is spoken, so sad we fear
Servant was I, who needs to come
Back to the arms who left the One
Who gave me breath to wake this day
Whose son would rise to pave the way
Servant am I whose gone selfish
To waste what time little I've left
Yet still I'm called as so are you
Who reads today making us two
Servant are you who runs away
When asked by GOD why do you stray
Chasing dreams awake this day
Living nightmares this state you stay
Servant defined to serve someone
That needs to be the only one
Your eyes should see to overcome
Trials yet lived, yet to be won
Servant whose knees should bend each day
In prayer, in thanks, to live the way
GOD wants you to make no mistake
As life you live, for granted take
Return I must as you should too
Forgiveness mine as is for you
To serve again, to rise as Him
Who washed with blood today our sins
