Mr. Right
Your knight in shining armor
Just kept on hurting you
Knowing all the dreams you once held dear
Were never to come true.
That must be hard to understand
To think life so surreal
But he could never give to you
The love he didn't feel.
Perhaps he did some time ago
But let it slip away
And even if you saw him now
What would you have to say?
To make him reconsider
And come to realize
That lasting love between two hearts
Requires a compromise.
But if he is too prideful
To admit that he was wrong
Just let him go, because someday
Mr. Right will come along.
