One More Dance
Today last dance I ask of you
Just one more song before we're through
In arms that long to hold once more
The you we love upon dance floor
You sway with grace leaving breathless
Eyes that watch us both well dressed
You in gown and me top hat
Sequin adorned and us Tux Black
Like clouds we float across the room
Dancing our song, our favorite tune
Brings us close, making us one
Just one more time before we're done
I promise not to step on shoes
Yours of Satin, promise we do
Lets begin this fantasy
As on the floor are you with me
Lets dance till dusk gives way to dawn
Before today simply is gone
For time is short as is this dance
The last we'll see of true romance
Dance with me to heal what ails
A man wounded by what impaled
A heart unlike we'll have again
Parting with sorrow, what had to end
