The sun always shining bright and early
The birds singing loudly, but sweetly
Grandma first up
Grandad and the pup
Then mama
Then papa
Then siblings
Then Aysha the laziest of all beings
There she goes off and ready always on time to school
She knows and never breaks that rule
The clouds moved in on the sun
Aysha couldn't see the time or the nun
She walks past everyday before she takes her shower
So goes back to sleep thinking she can sleep another hour
She gets to school at half past ten
She gets out her pen
Then the next day she gets to school at ten
"Whats your excuse today then"
"Its raining Mrs Ben"
"Does your mommy not use the hourglass"
"If she did i'd always be late for class"
"Did nobody wake you"
"Yes, but i didn't see the nun so i thought it was a weekend and so i got my feather duvet and fell through"
"Then what happened to you"
"Then Grandad finally woke me and i came to school"
"You know the rule"
Aysha most certaintly did and she sat down after school
Writing and writing until she napped and then because of her drool...
Had to start again
She finished it in a week after repeating the same mishap luckily children are always sane
Her parents not too impressed
Wondering when a new invention would take over to make them less stressed
