From Where I Stand
From where I stand, my cause is you
As sit we do with my heart too
Who wants to be the Knight who slays
The hurt that taunts with your heart plays
Read your words as if they were
An S O S no one has heard
Or seen in sky as Sun does set
You alone our will won't let
A Knight no shining armor worn
Who seeks, destroys where grow now thorns
Around your heart burdened not loved
Today we write of you thought of
Dear friend I come with peace of mind
To share a hug with love the kind
That heals what hurts but does not see
Us if you believed in me
We cannot sit by idly
Reading what is and should not be
That calls on you, that angers us
Your needs ours great and ours a must
Hold on, I ride now fast and hard
On steed of speed, stallion Black Star
Champion we will and bring to end
The ache, ransom your heart expends
Till then we hope this tune brings a smile
and leaves you laughing for awhile
