What Deception Brings

Blood flowing with an artificial pump
Crazy kind of thing
But what more could you ask for
This is the fortune her deception brings

Can't tell you how long it's been
Since this smile has faded
Can't even recall the day
I said goodbye to a friend

No telling how many 3 AMs
My sigh echoed throughout the hall
From walking tall to crawling short
Can't give the exact time my mind fell apart

Does any of it even matter
Cause once my heart shattered
Preparations for its eulogy began
Just hope God forgave all its sins

Hope for new beginnings
But who am I kidding
Faith is something that has been lost
Just one too many times

One too many lies
One too many tears
Only so much the soul can bear
Before it actually disappears
