Try Walking In His Shoes
Lord help me to walk another mile for you.
Help me lift my head when I am feeling blue.
You walked through the desert forty day and nights.
Hungry and thirsty, not lifting a fist to fight.
You went through pain and suffering for the sin of man.
So we can be part of your salvation plan.
Lord, I'd like to say I'm thankful for each day you give.
I can live happy on earth and in heaven forever live.
I'm grateful I'm joint heirs with Jesus your son.
I know all you went through showing pure love was not fun.
Help us Lord to show pure love, be careful of what we speak out.
To let the Holy Spirit guide us casting out satan, his fears and doubts.
Jesus showed us we can go through anything and still love and not hate.
I know with you Father God we need to daily meditate.
Help us to be slow to speak and quick to listen to your still small voice.
I have no fear of forever now. I praise you. I made the right choice.
Father God, help me to tell the world of your salvation plan.
If God be for me who can be against me? Help me to be a better man.
I can do all things through Christ. He's the strength in me.
The power of the Almighty God breaks the chains of bondage to set us free.
There's a blessing and cursing side here on earth I know.
The Bible is a sack of seeds we need to plant in our hearts and sow.
The sower sows the word of God and his spirit man will grow.
The blessing of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow.
Father God, help us to walk like Jesus each and every day.
Show more it's a relationship not a religion that is what I pray.
We are only worthy and righteous because of our savior's blood.
If it wasn't for Jesus we would be worth not much more than mud.
He had no sin and came to earth to save the lost and poor.
He gave His life and on the third day He arose.
Sitting next to God forever more.
Let's take it one day at a time and not worry about tomorrow.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.
1 Corinth.3:8-11
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one:
and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry,
ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me,
as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation,
and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take
heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid,
which is Jesus Christ.
Dear fellow poets and readers,I am adding this note to my poem

God bless and continue to walk with Jesus, for He is the way,
the truth and the Life. Exciting news since I was last online

Until next time,God bless and keep you.
