Prayer for Faith

We thank God Father of the Lord,
Jesus Christ who we have adored;
And as we are praying for you,
That your faith is remaining true.

We thank our God since we heard,
That your faith is now in the Word;
Through Christ Jesus it remains strong,
And love for others will prolong.

You have your faith because of hope,
Through the problems able to cope;
And kept safe in Heaven above,
As He ensures the flow of love.

It is not based on mortal views,
Rather the truth of the Good News;
Something more than just on merit,
But that you freely inherit.

For through the hope which is in store,
If you open the righteous door;
Letting His Spirit cleanse within,
All of the corruption and sin.

Thank the Father sharing the light,
That is giving you the insight;
And will finally give you peace,
As your ripened fruit will increase.
