Unseen Wealth
Portfolio laying upon
Table, fortunes accrued now all but gone
Massive were numbers on statement
Today homeless they pound the pavement
Hedge funds, loss rough now the edge
Of life wasted upon window ledge
They contemplate to end it all
This greed amassed what was it for
Picasso and Rembrandt's now hang
At auction block, Sotheby's now bangs
Gavel, Sold! Cries out a voice
Ignored decisions, bad was their choice
A wife loyal at her wits end
Never thought twice how she would spend
The plastic bares the sign of wear
Debt incurred now life theirs tears
Alone they'd spend in rooms apart
In house where furniture now movers cart
Off to pay what they failed to
Empty now home, apart they grew
Yet in this flood of finance woes
There is a choice, a place to go
To seek refuge and be consoled
By He, unseen, where true wealths stowed
He looks to skies and sees starlight
Hands hers cover face now that fights
Tears that run across that trace
Him seeking divine embrace
Both regret they failed to see
Errors,their way seeking now plea
One not served when all was fine
Dried up their world, greed theirs the crime
Thank GOD today for all you have
Be of good cheer, smile be not sad
For their is wealth unseen by eyes
Unseen like them living their lives
