Joyce And Bob! The Ambulance Crew!Joyce And Bob! The Ambulance Crew! From Wirral, Merseyside! Home Of The Scousers! Well I went to hospital this morning, And I guess I'm a bit of a pain! Cos it seems to me, every flipping week! I'm on a journey there again! Now I have to admit, I gab a lot! And I think I drove Joyce and Bob mad! Well, ok, maybe not Joyce... But I don't think Bob was too glad! But I know he had a giggle... As he drove his ambulance car! And you know, he goes all over the place, And travels wide and far! And poor Joyce has to go with him, But I guess it's because its her job, And she doesn't mind, most of the time, Unless they get a patient with a big gob! Yep, I hold my hands up to that! Cos you see, I tend to talk, a lot! And yeah, I have to tell it true, This poet should be shot!! But Bob said to me as he pushed me, In my trusty steed, my chair! And told me he thinks I'm an inspiration... But I think he's lost the plot a bit there! How can I be an inspiration? When I've got a gob as big as the sea? Cos at the end of the day, he'd be fed up, With a pain of a patient like me! And poor, poor Joyce, she's tired, Cos she gets thrown about in her chair! As Bob drives the ambulance, badly! And you know what? He doesn't care! So I said to Joyce I'd sign her petition, And have Bob get the sack! But heck, I can't do that can I? Cos who the heck would bring me back? I did a bit of bragging though, Shame on me, cos I never usually do, But we were talking about poems... And Joyce said she writes them too! Now the time is just after 1pm, And they've just left to drive a long way, I think they're off to Wales? Maybe their having a break today!? And kids, don't you worry, Cos I like you guys a lot! Except for Bobs mad driving! Cos let's face it, he should be shot! Now have a great day and weekend! (PS, I think you are both great! I do!) And I just want to say, right now, A great big thank you; to you! And to all the ambulance staff! Because maybe it's a thankless job?! Cos they really do a great service you know! So thanks!
