I always did love Greek and Roman mythology and the three Graces were one of my favorites. A poem to the lovers of the ancient times.
They were three, Flower, Joy, and Beauty.
Most loved of all the ancient ones.
Each knew they had a certain duty
woven in the mystic tapestry's runs.
Flower's joyful laughter would ring
across the mystic plains of Greece.
Joy with her golden voice would sing
and evoke that pristine inner peace.
Beauty was by far the most disarming
with her lovely hair and heart shaped face.
Together they painted a picture quite charming.
The ones they called the women of grace.
Still in the ancient books and in fast forgotten lore
their names are remembered with ardent awe.
They are the ones who should remain in our heart's core.
The three graces, wrought without one flaw.
