 The Ghost Whisperer

Only once a year, on Halloween, do my powers crest;
I can conjure up the spirits with those who are the best.
Surrounding my home with an eerie pink blanket of fog;
I am the ghost whisper, barking is the neighbor's dog.

When you bring your lil goblins to my front door tonight;
The hairs on your neck will stand up, be prepared for a fright.
It's Halloween, and all is fair on this spooky evening;
The naivety of playing trick or treat can be so deceiving.

For the ghosts desire to feed off your screams and fear;
So use extreme caution when my way, you come so near.
It's all in good fun, but good fun is scary none the less;
I am the ghost whisperer of Cherokee Forest, I must confess.

Knock softly on my front door, keeping your senses aware;
For those wandering spirits will be with you as you stand there.
Feel the tingles, the alarm within your very soul. Run away fast!
You will swear after tonight, that this Halloween will be your last.

Happy Halloween
