I had a wisdom tooth pulled recently
In the dentist office, done surgically Someone said in humorous freedom I hope you do not lose any wisdom I have heard wisdom comes with age Nothing to do with teeth at any stage But the thought still brought a smile Showing care, made it all worthwhile Wisdom teeth are the last to arrive I did not have pain like a sharp knife But the tooth had shifted in such a way It was a food trap with a risk of decay Stitches attached from my gum to cheek Surrounding area was sore after a week Both the tooth and stitches out, I am free Healing well, no infection, he released me Off and on, for three months, now at last Series of dental work over and in the past Grateful for insurance paying cost in part I know the rest, He will faithfully impart I have been reminded of His loving care With people greatly suffering everywhere You may be going through a difficult time Trust God for strength by His hand divine 1 Pet. 5:7 (NIV) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. © Carol Salter 11/2/09 Vote for this poem
