I been country all my life
Tryen to do it right
Getten it wrong most of the time
Thinking that love would win the fight

And she swears her love is strong
So here I am now settlen down
Tho its a bit risky within my heart
Wishen I could just found her first
Away back at the start
Thought Id found it several times
But people change it seems
