If At First You Don't...
If at first you don't...
No matter how hard you try,
Do it again, over and over,
You'll get nowhere if you cry!
Never give up, not ever,
Because forever's a very long time,
You'll never move on, if you live in the past,
It doesn't do any good to whine!
So if at first you don't,
Look forward and try again,
Look to your future don't live in the past,
For there's nothing at all to gain!
The past is done and gone,
We cant change it, no matter what,
We have to move onward and forward,
And be thankful for what we've got!
So if at first you don't...
Don't let it get you down,
Just hold up your head, don't live in dread,
It'll only cause you to worry and frown.
Never look over your shoulder,
So never look over your shoulder,
To see what you've left behind,
Forward and onward and upwards the way,
Don't lock yourself into a bind!
So if at first you don't,
Just try and try again,
Believe you me, I know...
You have everything to gain!
